For the 2024 expression of our Isle Martin Gin, distiller Paul Eddington and Andrew Hartwell, who works in our Ullapool Shop, ventured across to the water to meet with Emma Magenta, former resident of the island, to forage for the botanicals. As a custodian of the island, Emma’s knowledge and assistance has been invaluable to us since we began our collaboration with Isle Martin Trust.

This year the gin has presented as juniper forward with sweeter high notes from the bog myrtle seeds and hawthorns that are complemented with gentle savoury notes from the pepper dulse seaweed and a light hint of anise from the feathery leaves of the fennel plant.

£10 from the sale of each bottle will be donated to Isle Martin Trust.

The 2024 expression yielded 200 bottles.
